After a good outing at the Pacific Cup Tournament, the National Men's President 11 side is now gearing up for the World Cup qualifier next year.
The Shawn Corrie led side beat Australia Country in the Bronze medal playoffs and won their match after going into sudden death.
Corrie adds that with a squad filled with 7 new reps, they managed to overcome the odds and is confident they will make it into the National squad.
Meanwhile, the Women's side went down to Australian Country 5 - 1 in the Gold Medal playoffs.
