The Men’s Team Fiji 2 is gearing up for an improved performance at this year's Pacific Cup tournament that kicks off tomorrow after beating the New Zealand Barbarians by 7-1, in their friendly match last night.

Spokesperson Sheena Hughes said that despite the win, New Zealand will still come out strong during the tournament proper.

In other friendly matches that was held last night, the Men's Suva Team had a draw game with Samoa by 2-2 and the Women's Suva Team beat Samoa 3-1.
 
The New Zealand Barbarians side is the defending champions after they beat Fiji 4-2 last year to win the third title.

The tournament begins tomorrow and will end next Saturday and teams like hosts Fiji, the New Zealand Barbarians, Australia Country, Samoa and Vanuatu are taking part.
