The Nadi soccer team will be coached by Solomon's star Cummins Menapi and former Nadi player Buksh Khan in the Courts IDC.

Nadi was coached by Lambert Sarju but due to financial constraints the coaching panel has been changed.

Nadi Team President, Jitendra Kumar said Menapi brings a lot of experience after playing in the Solomons and also for the New Zealand based Waitakere United.

Kumar added that Menapi will also play for Nadi in the tournament next week which is a great boost to Nadi's chances of reaching the semi-finals.

Nadi has so far won the IDC trophy 15 times and they last won in 2002 when the team beat Rewa in the final.

Nadi will play Rewa in its first match of the Courts IDC at 7.45pm next Thursday and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
