Police have charged two men in Nausori for allegedly stealing a goat and assaulting the owner.
The Divisional Crime Officer Eastern ASP Ramesh Chand said the two are alleged to have stolen the goat in Lakena, Nausori and were walking away with it when they were approached by the goat's owner.
The two are alleged to have then thrown stones at him, injuring him in the process. He was later treated for injuries at the Nausori Hospital.
