Three people charged with robbery with violence appeared in Nadi court yesterday.

It is alleged that on the 27th of October Satish Chand, Mateo Kasaqa and Cama Tikoitoga entered a shop in Mulomulo Nadi armed with cane knives and threatened the owner, and when the shop owner tried to defend himself, they struck his hand with the cane knife and in the process the owner received injuries.

The three stole, $400 dollars cash, gold chains and a mobile phone valued up to $960. The three tried to flee after stealing the cash, however they failed as they were caught by those passing around the area.

The three requested for legal counsel representation and their plea has been deferred till the 13th of November.
