Men Appear For Alleged Robbery
The Court was told that 20 year old Timoci Serekalou, 27 year old Jemesa Levuka and 26 year old Jone Togamadanawa allegedly stormed into the service station with cane knives and beer bottles and after threatening the cashier they walked away with $698.77 in cash and $85 worth of assorted items.
Divisional Prosecuting Officer Southern, Inspector Vakacegu Tukuduadua asked Magistrate Aminiasi Katonivualiku if the three can be remanded in custody as they three others have been arrested in relation to the robbery and they are yet to finish their investigation.
Magistrate Katonivualiku has remanded them in Police custody and the plea has also been deferred as all three asked the court if they can seek legal advice.
They will appear in the Suva Magistrate Court again on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, the three men arrested this morning in relation to the same robbery are expected to appear in Court on Thursday morning.
