The Fiji Council of Churches will not stop any of their members from joining the National Council for Building a Better Fiji.

Secretary, Reverend Isireli Kacimaiwai said that each church denomination is entitled to their own decision and the council of churches will not try to influence them.

Reverend Kacimaiwai added that while the Methodist Church of Fiji has maintained their stand that they will not be part of the NCBBF, whereas the Catholic church has taken a different path as the Archbishop is the co-chair of the council.

And which according to Kacimaiwai clearly shows that the two denominations make their own independent decisions and were in no way influenced by the Fiji Council of Churches.

Kacimaiwai has confirmed that those who will be part of the NCBBF will still be a member of the Council of Churches.
