The Police Commissioner has stressed that his meeting with the senior Indo-Fijian officers of the force yesterday where he made the threat that he will sack them if they are disloyal, was a private matter.
When Fijivillage approached Commodore Esala Teleni at a function earlier today asking him about his meeting with the senior officers yesterday, Commodore Teleni said and Fijivillage quotes "you people intruded on the privacy of the Fiji Police Force and I will not make any comments at all".
Cameras and recorders started rolling when he started making the comment but Commodore Teleni then told reporters to turn off the recording equipment as everything that happened in Nasova yesterday was a private matter.
