The Bose ni Turaga meeting today will determine the future of the new look Great Council of Chiefs.
Fijian Affairs Ministry media liaison officer Kini Rarubi said the 185 chiefs called the Turaga i Taukei will determine who will represent them in the new look GCC.
Rarubi said the new GCC regulation clearly outlines that the GCC should be apolitical.
President Ratu Josefa Iloilo will officially open the meeting in the next hour at QEB.
