Fiji born world number 1 heavyweight contender Kalivati Meehan is hoping that promoter Don King will give him the first shot for the WBA title fight against Russian Nikolai Valuev.

Meehan is confident that he has what it takes to rule the heavy-weight division.

He said that current holder Russian Nikolai Valuev is beatable after watching his last fight which he won by points decision against American John Ruiz.

In an exclusive interview with Fijivillage, Meehan has revealed that he will have to convince Don King that he will make money from his title shot to be given the opportunity. He is hoping for the promoter to give him the much awaited fight.
