The media can shape the mind of the general public in terms of accepting people living with sexually transmitted infections and HIV & AIDS.
Robin Drysdale, who is an advisor on HIV with the Secretariat of the Pacific Communities, speaking at a workshop for reporters from around the Asia Pacific Region, told participants that the only way to remove the stigma would be through the media.
The two day workshop was held at Denarau.
