A 51 year old mechanic is admitted in Lautoka Hospital after he was crushed by a bus he was repairing in Votualevu Nadi yesterday.
Western Police spokesperson, Wame Bautolu said the mechanic and an 18 year old youth were standing in front of the bus when the engine suddenly started and the bus rolled, crushing both of them against the wall.
Another mechanic got inside and reversed the bus and both men were taken to Nadi Hospital.
The 51 year old fractured his hands and a leg and has been transferred to Lautoka Hospital whereas the other youth was treated and sent home.
