Blues captain Keven Mealamu has identified their set-phases as a key area to improve in, if they want to beat the Crusaders on Saturday.

The All Black stalwart was a helpless spectator on the replacements bench during the first half of his side’s 16-11 defeat to the Chiefs at the weekend.

He admitted that the Crusaders are a very classy side and it’s going to be tough travelling down to their home ground as well.

The Crusaders meet the Blues at 7:35pm Saturday.

Meanwhile on Friday at 7:35pm the Chiefs host the Hurricanes and at 9:40pm the Brumbies take on the Rebels.
