Natabua High School Sprinter Isoa Me has failed to live up to expectation in the IAAF World Junior Athletics Championship in Poland.
Me, who was the outstanding athlete in the Oceania Athletics Championship in Saipan, finished 8th in his 400 metre heat in a time of 49.40 seconds. He didn't qualify for the second round.
Me, who was the only athlete from Fiji to compete in the World Junior Championship, is only 17 and is eligible for another World Junior Championship placing next year.
