Super Rugby winning Reds coach Ewen McKenzie has revealed that he will quit the Queensland Rugby Union at the end of the Super Rugby season to pursue his dream of coaching at Test level.

Current Wallabies coach Robbie Deans has a contract with the Union until the end of the year so McKenzie could take over from next year.

If the Wallabies lose the British and Irish Lions Test series in June and July they could choose to terminate Deans' contract early or if they beat the Lions handsomely they could extend his contract although that seems unlikely.

The Reds will meet the Bulls at 8:40pm Saturday. Meanwhile, the Crusaders will play the Kings at 6.35pm this Saturday while, at 6.35pm Friday, the Chiefs take on the Highlanders.
