All Blacks captain Richie McCaw remains on course to play in what will possibly be the Rugby Championship decider against South Africa in Johannesburg next week.

McCaw traveled with the team ahead of Sunday’s Test against Argentina to continue his rehabilitation on his injured knee.

All Blacks assistant coach Ian Foster said McCaw is making great strides and he is progressing a little bit quicker than they had expected.

Foster added first five Aaron Cruden is likely to play against the Pumas in La Plata.

The All Blacks will play Argentina at 10.40am this Sunday while the Springboks meet the Wallabies at 3am.
