Richie McCaw and Daniel Carter will both start for the Crusaders in their Super Rugby opener against the Rebels in Christchurch tomorrow.
McCaw has been named at blindside flanker, with Matt Todd to wear the number seven jersey.
The All Blacks captain hasn't started any of the pre‑season games.
Carter's been named to run on at first‑five, outside young halfback Mitchell Drummond who's got the nod due to the unavailability of Andy Ellis and the injured Willi Heinz.
Owen Franks, Luke Romano, Dominic Bird and Colin Slade have all been named in the starting with Wyatt Crockett to come off the bench.
The Crusaders will take on the Melbourne Rebels this Friday in Christchurch.
