The Brumbies have been given a double boost as there is good news on Pat McCabe's neck injury as well as David Pocock's knee injury.

The Brumbies have revealed that McCabe and Pocock would have further scans today but early indications are they are both fine and they could both be available for selection for Friday's clash against the Hurricanes in Wellington.

McCabe was unable to finish the Brumbies victory over the Western Force on Saturday and was taken to hospital in a neck brace.

McCabe participated in the Brumbies recovery session yesterday and has returned to Canberra with the rest of the team.

The Brumbies will play the Hurricanes at 6.35pm this Friday while the Reds will play the Cheetahs at 8.40pm.

On Saturday the Crusaders host the Stormers at 6.35pm and the Force play the Rebels at 8.40pm.
