Floyd Mayweather has returned to his old training program in the build‑up to Sunday’s super‑fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Mayweather believes a return to a Rocky Balboa training program will see him defeat Pac Man.

Mayweather has been pushed to the limit by going back to the basics of his training - by chopping wood.

The unbeaten American said that if he is going to beat a top fighter like Pacquiao, he will have to go back to how he used to prepare for fights, and be pushed to the limit.

Mayweather posted a video of himself to his Instagram page chopping a log as part of his preparations for the mega-fight.

Earlier in his career, Mayweather had been chopping tree trunks - a training method which was portrayed by actor Sylvester Stallone in his portrayal of fictional boxer Rocky Balboa.

The initial projection of a 60/40 purse split from the fight would see 180 million US dollars going to Mayweather and 120 million US dollars going to Pacquiao.

Meanwhile Stallone has visited Pacquiao’s camp already and is supporting him in Sunday’s fight.

There is also word that Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to continue making movies for the “Expendables” action franchise, and Manny Pacquiao may be in it.

The “Terminator” star has been urging Sylvester Stallone to write a fourth Expendables screenplay.

Arnold told USA Today that he thinks it's a great idea to have a movie with that many action heroes.

Rumors about Manny Pacquiao's appearance in the upcoming movie “Expendables 4” have been flying on the internet since late last year.

Jason Statham recently said that he too would do “as many” Expendables as Stallone wants.

Mayweather will fight Pacquiao at about 3pm Sunday, and you can watch it live on Sky Pacific’s Pay Per View channel for $40 for residential customers and $300 for commercial customers.
