It’s been three days since the Hibiscus Festival came to an end and the Suva Lord Mayor is furious that Albert Park is in a pathetic condition, filled with rubbish.
Ratu Peni Volavola said the Hibiscus Festival committee has breached the Memorandum of Agreement which was signed by the chairman of the committee Dhansukh Lal Bhika.
Volavola said he will advise his council officials this morning to consult Bhika on this issue to try and clean Albert Park as soon as possible.
Dhansukh Lal Bhika is expected to comment later on the matter.
