The Digicel Fiji 7s team must win all its pool games in the Hong Kong 7's tournament with maximum points to set up an easier path to the semi finals on Sunday.

Team manager Opetaia Ravai said they cannot afford to lose any Pool games as only the top team from each pool will qualify to the last eight with the two best runner-up teams.

New Zealand 7's coach Gordon Tietjens believes his side's biggest challenge may come from Fiji if they do meet in the knockout stages.

England has dropped Fijian player Isoa Damudamu from their squad because of injury and coach Ben Ryan said although it is a setback his team is again ready to deliver the best.

Samoa should not be over looked also. Team captain Uale Mai said they are in Hong Kong to defend their title.

The Hong Kong 7s tournament starts at 8:30pm today with the opening match between Australia and Hong Kong. Fiji will play at 9:14pm against Korea.
