The Dallas Mavericks have won their first ever NBA Championship this afternoon when they defeated Dwyane Wade’s Miami Heat 105-95 in game six.

For nine of the Mavericks that have played at least 10 seasons, this title was the first for all of them.

Mavs, Dirk Nowitzki was awarded the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player.
