High Court Judge Justice Prabhaharan Kumararatnam has acquitted two former Post Fiji Executives Peni Mau and Dhirendra Pratap.

Justice Kumararatnam agreed with the three High Court assessors unanimous decision of not guilty.

Outside the Court house Mau said he is delighted of the outcome today and believes that justice has prevailed.

Mau was charged with one count of Abuse of Office while Pratap faced one count of Extortion.

It was alleged that whilst being employed at Post Fiji Limited, Mau authorized the payment of $5,400 to Pratap as a reward for the compilation of the tax return for the company without the endorsement of the Board of Directors and the Higher Salaries Commission.
