Police and the National Fire Authority are calling on parents to teach their children not to play with matches and that matches are not toys.
This comes after a building which housed seven residential flats caught fire in Northern Press Road, Nadi yesterday.
Initial investigations reveal that a 4 year old child was playing with matches in one of the flats which probably caused the beddings to catch fire. The child was alone at home at the time. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire.
