“The Coke Zero Deans is totally different from this.”
Those were the words of Malakai Vereivalu, the President 15s under 18 rugby player who is looking forward to meeting the Junior Wallabies this Saturday.
The 18-year-old, who is the head boy of Assemblies of God (AOG) High School, said he knows what to expect from the Australians.
Vereivalu, who led AOG to a dream run in this year’s Coca-Cola Zero Deans, added they may have minimal time to prepare but it will not deter him from putting up a good performance.
The Junior Wallabies arrived yesterday with Neori Nadruku, the son of former Flying Fijians and rugby league great Noa Nadruku, who will be playing at prop.
The President 15s team will host the Australians at Churchill Park this Saturday.
