Flying Fijians halfback Nikola Matawalu has joined the Flying Fijians camp ahead of their first Europe tour match this Sunday against Portugal.
Matawalu who was earlier in doubt for the Northern tour arrived this morning after being cleared by the RaboDirect PRO12 Disciplinary Committee in Cardiff for an alleged incident of foul play when he featured for his Glasgow Warriors side two weeks ago.
Captain Akapusi Qera has also joined the side but Campese Maafu and Netani Talei are expected to come in later.
The Flying Fijians will play Portugal this Sunday before playing Italy on the 17th then Romania on the 24th of this month.
Their last match is against the Barbarians on the 1st of December.
