Setareki Matau of Marist Brothers High School set a new senior boy’s discus record in the Suva Zone 2 with a distance of 49.45 metres.
The old record was set in 2007 by Selasitino Rodan also of Marist.
Savenaca Kavoa won second gold for Marist in the senior boy’s shot put.
Meanwhile, Suva Grammar School is still leading the boy’s division with 4 gold, followed by Marist with 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, Ratu Latianara is third with 1 silver and 1 bronze.
Waidina Secondary School leads the girl’s division with 2 gold while Saint Joseph and Grammar are tied at second place with 1 gold each.
