Fiji soccer’s new sensation Rusiate Matarerega who scored two goals for Nadi in the Vodafone Fiji FACT final yesterday said he had a great time with his family last night.
The 20 year old Bavu villager from Nadi said he did not see his family members and villagers for two weeks as he was in camp.
Matarerega who is the son of former Nadi and Lautoka rep Watisoni Voli said he will stay with the Jetsetters as he wants Nadi to win other major soccer tournaments.
Meanwhile, Nadi soccer team players and officials will share the $15,000 prize money from the Fiji Football Association and the $15,000 given by Mr Mobile company.
Team President Navneeda Goundar said they are also planning for a big celebration which is expected to take place this Saturday.
