Bad news for the Nadi soccer as goal scoring machine Rusiate Matarerega will not play in the Vodafone Fiji FACT.
Matarerega who scored two goals in Nadi’s 3-1 win over Ba in last year’s Vodafone Fiji FACT final is sick and has not attended training in the few past weeks.
Nadi soccer officials have confirmed that Matarerega will not be included in Nadi’s final squad.
Nadi will take on Navua at 1pm this Friday at Ratu Cakobau Park in its first match.
Meanwhile Suva will take on Lautoka at 5.30pm, Ba will play Nadroga at 3pm while at 7.30pm Rewa will face Labasa.
