Former Fiji Soccer Captain Esala Masi is being considered to play against the likes of Zinedine Zidane.

Masi who is currently based in Australia is highly likely to feature for the Christian Karembeu Eleven team that will play against the France 98 World Cup winning team.

It is understood that Oceania Football Confederation officials are having talks with Masi to play in a friendly International match.

Karembeu, who is originally from New Caledonia is the only Pacific Islander to have played in the World Cup to date and helped France win the 1998 tournament, playing at right back and that is the main reason for him getting the French players across to New Caledonia.

The Christian Karembeu Eleven and France 98 team match will be played on 31st May in New Caledonia.
