Lelia Masaga scored a hat-trick of tries as the defending champions Chiefs secured a bonus point 35 24 victory over the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth this morning.

The Chiefs outscored the Kings by four tries to two so they take five points from the match in the standings.

It also marked Chief’s flanker Liam Messam’s 100th super rugby game.

Meanwhile last night the Hurricanes beat the Highlanders 23-19 while the Cheetahs edged the Waratahs 27-26.

At 6.35 tonight the Crusaders host the Bulls while at 8.40pm the Reds take on the Force.
