St George Illawarra have been struck a hammer blow with Benji Marshall and Josh Dugan sidelined for their crunch NRL clash against Gold Coast tonight.

Dragons playmaker Marshall has succumbed to a hamstring strain and been forced to put his 250th game celebrations on ice while Dugan will miss up to six weeks after suffering a broken jaw in State of Origin III.

The double injury blow to the Dragons' key attacking weapons could hardly have come at a worse time for Paul McGregor's side, who have struggled for points this year.

Going into Round 19, they have the second worst attacking record, having posted just 215 points, and a loss to the ninth‑placed Titans will see them fall out of the eight.

The Dragons face the Titans at 9.50 tonight.

In other matches, the Sea Eagles clash with the Warriors at 7.30pm tomorrow while the Rabbitohs battle the Broncos at 9.30pm.
