Daly Cherry‑Evans has been dropped from the Queensland Maroons squad for next week’s State of Origin Game III against the New South Wales Blues.
Cooper Cronk has recovered from his knee injury and will replace Cherry-Evans.
Michael Morgan retains his place on the Queensland bench, with Raiders prop Josh Papalii earning an Origin recall at the expense of the injured Josh McGuire.
As expected, Greg Inglis has been named at fullback to replace Billy Slater who is out for the season with a shoulder injury.
State of Origin Game III will be held at 10pm next Wednesday.
