In an effort to build a sense of community at the campus life at USP, the university held for the first time a Pacific market day yesterday.
USP Vice Chancellor Professor Rajesh Chandra said the market day is part of the universities programme on improving life for the students and staff.
Professor Chandra added it will provide convenience and a variety of goods for the students.
Meanwhile, USP engineering student Liam Kwongwah who was one of the food stall owners said he and his friends took part for the fun and experience of it.
The Pacific market day will be held every last Thursday of each month.
