The Marist Brothers High School Under-19 team will use five-eighth Jale Vatubua as their trump-card in their Tier 1 quarterfinal match against defending champions Lelean Memorial School this afternoon.
Vatubua is an asset to the team as he saved his "brothers" from losing to rivals Suva Grammar School in the Southern Zone playoffs to advance into this week’s quarterfinals.
Marist Under-19 coach Fesaitu Mario said will be relying on the Tailevu lad to spring a few surprises in their game against Lelean.
Marist will meet defending champions Lelean Memorial School in the last game at 4:20pm on Saturday at the TFL stadium.
In other Under-19 quarterfinals, at 12:15pm, RKS meet Nasinu, at 1:40pm Ratu Navula College from Nadi will meet Ratu Sukuna Memorial School and at 3pm Queen Victoria School take on Lomawai Secondary.
The first Tier 1 quarterfinals are in the Under-14 grade at 8:20am where Natabua meet MBHS.
