Marist leads Suva Zone Two
After the 1,500 metres track finals this morning, Marist Brothers High School has so far bagged one Gold Medal and two Silver medals to lead.
Second to Marist is Waindina Secondary from Naitasiri with one Gold and one Silver.
Looking at the Girls division, Waidina Secondary is leading with one gold, two Silver and one bronze while defending zone champions, Suva Grammar have one Gold Medal that came from national rep Noela Taqai, who won the girls 1,500m in the last hour.
Looking at the results so far, though no national records have fallen, Lomary Secondary school athlete and Coca Cola games defending 1500m senior sprinter, Varasiko Toge took home the Gold medal beating Marist Brother=s Silione Vatavasavo who settled for Silver.
The Sub Junior Division 100m heats is currently underway.
