Marist Brothers High School is eyeing a better performance in this year's Coca Cola Games.
The Flagstaff based school has not tasted victory in the Boys division since 2007.
They will go into the Games this year as favourites after winning the Suva Zone Two meet where they beat defending champions Suva Grammar School.
Marist Brothers Athletics Team Manager Navitalai Waiwalu said their aim is to go one better than what they did last year.
Waiwalu said his athletes are ready for the challenge that will come from other schools in the boys division.
Marist Brothers High School have dominated the field events in the past but this year they will rely more on track events and hopes that their star runner Banuve Tabakaucoro can win at least three gold medal.
Tabakaucoro will run in the Senior Boys 100m, 200, and 4x100m relay.
The Coca Cola Games start on Friday at the tfl National Stadium.
