Marist Brothers High School is confident and determined to win the Coca-Cola Games Boys division title this year.

Seventy‑four athletes will represent Marist.

Forty‑seven of these athletes will take part in the track events.

Marist finished third in the Coca‑Cola Games last year with 7 gold, 10 silver and 14 bronze.

They are aiming for gold in the Senior Boys Blue Ribbon event through Albert Miller Junior who won gold for Marist in the Suva Zone 2 Senior Boys 100 metres final with a time of 11.43 seconds.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Albert Miller Junior said he is only focusing on giving his best performance for his school and fans.

Miller added that this is one of the strongest teams that Marist has assembled.

Other athletes who are expected to lead the Marist campaign are Keasi Naidroka, Josefa Tabakaucoro, Lasarusa Senibale, Kaliopasi Uluilakepa and Waisake Nakavu.

Meanwhile girls division contender, Adi Cakobau School has been quiet after the Triple N Zone but they have Antonio Raboiliku the man who led Jasper Williams High School to winning the girls title in 2014 and last year.

Raboiliku has been working with the ACS team after finishing his term in Jasper last year.

ACS vice‑principal Laniana Tawake said the future looks bright for them.

Tawake added that they are optimistic of their chances this year and are grateful for Raboiliku's contributions and looking forward to learning more from him.

The 2016 Coca‑Cola Games will be held from this Thursday to Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
