Marist Brothers High School has extended it's lead in the boys division in the 2014 Coca Cola Games in the last hour while Saint Joseph's Secondary School is holding on to the first position in the girls division.

Looking at the boy's division, Marist lead with 11 gold, 9 silver and 10 bronze.

Sailasa Kalouniviti won the first gold medal for Marist on day 2 in the Senior Boys High Jump. 

Sailasa who is former Marist high jumper, Jone Kalouniviti's younger brother, attempted to break Antonio Rahiman's record set 11 years ago but he could not clear the bar. 

Rahiman's record set in 2003 still stands at 2.09 metres.

Marist look strong in the field events today as Simione Savu won gold in the senior boys triple jump, Suva Grammar's Sireli Bulivorovoro settled for silver while Jerry Davoibaravi of Ratu Navula Secondary got bronze.

Maurea Konrote also won gold for Marist in the Junior Boys Discus earlier today. 

Josua Serukilagi of QVS took silver while the bronze medal went to Jone Loco of Levuka Public School.

Marist also won gold in the senior boys discus through Setareki Matau in the last hour. 

Natabua High is in second place with 8 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze. 

QVS is third with 6 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze while Suva Grammar is next with 4 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze. 

In the girl's division, St Josephs Secondary leads with 6 gold and 2 silver.

Alice Peters of Saint Josephs won gold in the junior girls shot put event.

Adi Cakobau School is now in second place with 5 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze.

Maca Korolevu of ACS won gold in the junior girls long jump event in the last hour, Tyana Kainamoli of Saint Josephs Secondary took silver while Lelean's Asinate Kasowaqa took bronze.

Defending champion, Jasper Williams High School has dropped to third place with 5 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze.

Mereseini Naidau of Jasper won the 3,000 metres event this morning.

Xavier College is fourth in the girl's division with 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
 
The 800 metres finals ended with Queen Victoria School's Epeli Batisila winning his second gold - this time in the senior boys 800 metres. 

Anasa Kaito of Marist took silver while Iakobo Maiyalave of John Wesley College took bronze.

Merelita Tuilawaki of Namosi Secondary took gold in the Senior Girls 800 metres.

In the intermediate boys 800 metres, Iliesa Ratete took gold for Natabua High while Farisiko Mualivu of Grammar settled for silver. 

The 4x100 metres relay finals start this hour while the 4x400 metres finals kick off at about 2pm today.
