Marist Brothers High School is maintaining its dominance in the Field events at the Suva Zone Two Athletics meet.

They have so far won 7 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals. 6 gold medals came from the field events while 1 gold was won on the tracks.

Suva Grammar School lies in second place on the Fijivillage Medal tally with 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze while Gospel High is in third place with 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

In the girls division Suva Grammar leads with 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze while Saint Joseph and Laucala Bay Secondary are tied in second place with 1 gold each.

Meanwhile a 21-year-old record was broken in the Inter Boys long jump by Marist Brothers High School student, Banuve Tabacaukoro with a jump of 6.52 meters. The old record was 6.50 meters set by Henry Elder of Marist Brothers in 1987.
