Marist Brothers Primary school retained their Suva Zone one athletics boys title today after winning 13 gold, 14 silver and 5 bronze while Gospel Primary school came second with 5 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.
Suva Methodist Primary School came third with 5 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze.
In the girls division, Marcellin Primary school came first after bagging 12 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze followed by Suva Methodist Primary with 7 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze while Dudley Intermediate was third with 7 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze.
Kitione Rawalai of Gospel Primary and Helena Young of Marcellin Primary were the best male and female athletes after both won three gold each in the 100, 200 and 4x100 metres relay events.
