The Fiji Bitter Marist 7's - The Road to Moscow kicks off this hour where majority of our World Cup squad players will be playing.

All the overseas based players are here except Timoci Matanavou.

The Wardens team has most of the National reps with the likes of Ilai Tinai, Joji Ragamate, Lepani Botia and Niko Verekauta.

The Tabadamu side from Namosi will have Setefano Cakau, Jone Vota and Joeli Lutumailagi.

Filimoni Botitu, Vereniki Goneva and Jerry Tuilevu will be playing for the Nadi based Yamacia side.

Lomaiviti Barbarians will have Manasa Nayagi, Natabua Gold will have the services of Jasa Veremalua and Metuisela Talebula, Osea Kolinisau will play for the Covenant Brothers while the Police team will be boosted by speedster Samisoni Viriviri, Sunia Kubu and Manueli Laqai.

The Uprising team will feature brothers Waisea Nayacalevu and Avenisi Vasuinubu. 

The Western Babas will feature Seremaia Burotu, Pio Tuwai and Samu Saqiwa.

Head Coach Alifereti Dere said the players will be closely monitored.


Meanwhile, the Fiji Rugby Union will send the names of the 15 member Digicel Fiji 7s team for the World Cup today to the International Rugby Board but it will not be revealed to the public.

FRU General Manager High Performance Unit Mike Ryan said other details are in house matters at the moment.

Fijivillage understands that coach Alifereti Dere wants to gauge some of the players performance today before sending the names of the players.
 
A 21 member squad will be announced after the Marist 7s.

Sakuvorowaqa will take on Botaira Stingers at the ANZ Stadium this hour, Nawaka will take Nacula Eagles while Cousteau Resort will play Army Green.

At 8.15am, Uprising will take on Marist 1.

Ticket price for today is $7 flat while tomorrow it will be $12 for the grandstand and $7 for the embankment.
