The duty forecaster at the Weather Office said at the moment there is a high pressure system towards that South South-West of the Fiji Group and this is seeing the country experience very windy conditions both at sea and on land.
The Office added that at the moment, the system is slow moving and this will see Fiji experiencing cloudy periods with rain along with strong to gusty winds over the next two days.
The forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group will see cloudy periods with some showers especially about Northern Vanua Levu and the eastern and interior parts of the larger islands else where there will be fine weather.
