A team of officers from the Drug unit were in Taveuni last week and uprooted marijuana plants with a street value of close to $40,000.
Police have confirmed that the raid was conducted after a tip off however no one has been arrested.
Police are calling for information about the owners of these marijuana plants.
The area was under police surveillance for some time.
