Coca Cola Games blue ribbon champion Beniamino Maravu is ready to unleash his speed at the 7s competition of the Pacific Mini Games in Wallis and Futuna next Tuesday.

The 19-year-old said he will do whatever it takes to impress in his first outing knowing this will be his first major step into his rugby career.

Maravu is confident about Fiji’s chances of claiming gold and has also hinted his goal of representing Fiji to the next IRB 7s Series.

Meanwhile, the Pacific Mini Games starts today in Wallis and Futuna with Fiji athletes taking part in Athletics, Weightlifting and Volleyball.
