Coca-Cola Games Blue ribbon champion Beniamino Maravu is highly unlikely to feature for the Wardens side in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s next week.

This comes after Maravu suffered an ankle injury during a 7s tournament in Sigatoka last week and has been rested from training.

Wardens manager Kaliopasa Bogiva said Maravu will have to be cleared by the team doctor so that he can be available for selection.

However Bogiva added that the side has been boosted with the inclusion of Vodafone Fiji 7s playmaker Waisea Nacuqu and will spear head their attack alongside Leo Naikasau, Niko Verekauta and Iliesa Salusalu.

Other notable inclusions in the side are Lepani Botia, Rusiate Tadulala, Savenaca Nadruku and Seniyasi Matailewena.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s kicks off next Friday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
