Beniamino Maravu has been given until tomorrow by Athletics Coach to the Pacific Mini Games Gabriel Qoro to make his final decision.

Qoro said if Maravu wants to make the Athletics squad then he has to be part of the first time trials tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.

Qoro added that if Maravu doesn’t turn up tomorrow then he is expected to be replaced by either Jacob Waqanivalu, Lepani Naivalu or Aaron Powell.

Maravu was included in the Athletics squad for the Pacific Mini Games before being named in the Fiji 7s team earlier this week.

The 19 year old Coca-Cola Games sprint champion is yet to make his decision on whether to play rugby or burn the Wallis and Futuna tracks at the Pacific Mini Games in September.
