Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee believes the Maori All Blacks one off test match with the Flying Fijians is a perfect way for them to prepare for the Pacific Nations Cup and Rugby World Cup in September.
McKee said Akapusi Qera, veteran Seremaia Bai, Vereniki Goneva, Waratahs giant wing Taqele Naiyaravoro, Crusaders wing Nemani Nadolo, Nikola Matawalu, Leone Nakarawa and Waisea Nayacalevu are likely to be part of the national side.
He added that most of the European competitions will be finishing soon and the players are expected to return to Fiji in June, a few weeks before the Maori All Blacks test.
The one off test against the Maori All Blacks will be held on the 11th of July at the ANZ Stadium before the Pacific Nations Cup kicks off on July 18th.
Fiji will host the opening PNC match against Tonga at the ANZ Stadium.
