The Health Ministry reveals that the Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation has touched the lives of many people especially the children with congenital heart defects.
Permanent Secretary Health Dr Salanieta Saketa said assistance is timely as some parents are faced with financial constraints.
Yesterday the Foundation gave $30,000 to the Fiji College of General Practitioners Children's Heart Foundation so sick children can receive potentially life-saving surgery in India.
They are looking at 16 children by November to send them to the Frontier Lifeline Hospital in Chennai.
