Many areas around the country are currently facing power disruptions.

Fiji Electricity Authority's Corporate Communications Manager, Mabael Howard said strong winds, heavy rain and flooding is and will be causing disruptions and people have been advised to take extra precaution.

She said parts of Samabula, whole of Deuba, Nausori to Tailevu including RKS and QVS, parts of Rakiraki and parts of Savusavu are currently facing power disruptions. She said FEA technicians are working on the lines.

She is calling on people to call Fea if they see any fallen power lines immediately on 132 333 and people are urged to treat every line as being live and not to touch any wire.
